I am passionate about clinical negligence law because it allows me to utilise my expertise as a former registered midwife, nurse and nutritionist to advocate for patient's rights and ensure they receive the justice they deserve. My previous background in healthcare enables me to deeply understand the complexities of medical cases and provide compassionate informed legal support to those affected by medical errors.
I have experience working as a solicitor in both personal injury and clinical negligence. I completed my legal studies with an LLB (Hons) in Scots Law and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2021. Since then, I have undertaken advocacy skills training, and my previous medical career includes a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery, a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing, a Postgraduate qualification in Teaching, an MSc in Clinical and Public Health Nutrition, the NEBOSH qualification in Health and Safety, and a PhD study in omega-3 fatty acids and postnatal depression.
